You know youre going to be in for a special treat once you've read Bad Kids Go to Hell ;)

Its The Breakfast "Dead" Club! LOL.
"Wickedly Evil & Sneering Bitchiness with a touch of outrageous and  cruel 'did that just really happen moments"!

                                   " Daddy's money can't save them now!"

Where do I even begin?
I tell ya what, the writers who wrote this book have a real knack for awesome midnight black wit teenage dialogue. The dialogue in it is very sharp and engaging with some very outrageous remarks from these "Bad Kids" as well. Number 1:  This is what made me love BKGtH. It was the writing. Kudos to the writers.
And Number 2:  The title says it all-- Bad Kids Go to Hell.

There cant be a single comic/movie out there now with a cool name like that.
But if you haven't heard of it by now (well..shame on you!) its got a pretty simple storyline, you take two great 80's legends such as John Hughes and Wes  Craven and mix both of their genres together. Classic.
You get a teen angst wonderland and a splatter fest filled with raging hormones and psychotic weirdos chasing after you. That's Bad Kids Go to Hell for ya.
But its simple...what do you do with six Downright nasty, dysfunctional Kids who pretty much don't give a shit about anything (or anyone..), or society for that matter! You want to punish them, psychologically hurt them..or even better Kill them. Seriously..they'll be no lost to society there!

But instead these six kids are ordered to Detention on a Saturday at their Private Elite Prep School for doing cruel and nasty things to their peers (and well for some...some very Naughty things!) OHH..the Fun xD
While they're in Detention they're told to do research on their 'NEW' school library, as they dig deeper they find out that its actually built on an old Indian burial site. While hard to believe for the kids, this is where the fun begins and basically everything just turns to shit for them as their rich kid brattiness starts to dissolve slowly and their vulnerability starts to shine through.
Is it really a supernatural force after these kids, Is it the teachers? Is it the parents? or is one of these kids "really" Bad they're just doing away with the social politics of High School?..
Either way the worst part of all of this is that the douche bag parents of these kids are just as bad as they are.
Kicking the poor old Indian guy off his land,  leading him to an asylum for the "insane"and eventually commit suicide! That was a downright low.
Either way you're going to love to hate these horrible kids and basically everyone as theres not one likeable human being in this premise. The joyful thing about this is that the writers take you in a  grueling awesome way of making you sure as hell HATE these God-awful Kids.
And you honestly do!
You also cant help but wanting Tricia's ( The H.B.I.C) aka. Head Bitch In Charge popular girl at Crestview, you just cant help but wish that her corrupt Governor Mother 'Ms. Wilkes', died along with these kids in a pile of stacked shit!
As I said before the rents' are just as Evil as their offspring!
Crestview Academy is the ultimate High school revenge den that what you send out, you get back times ten! Its horrible..but don't tell me these kids didn't deserve it.

I can definitely see why this Graphic Novel is really popular- among all ages.. most people I know from friends in general it's pretty big with the Teen demographic. I should know as I'm 16 myself. All my mates rave about it at school.
And rightfully so..well done told story of teens in this modern technology fueled world.
This isn't something based off on teens in the 80s or 90s but on simply what teens are like today.
The Novel has been dubbed as The Breakfast Club meets Heathers meets The Grudge.
Funny considering Heathers is one of my all time fav Movie. The book delivers everything that made/ or makes High School Hell to most of us and serves up an important lesson otherwise.
Its really about Retribution, the Sins of the Father and Greed that seems to get worse for the next Generation.
The great thing about this novel is that everything about this story was so right on so many levels, the characters in it are so rich and diverse--so real that I think we can all think of that one person or a certain clique that made our High School days a living irresistible Hellhole. The whole plot is original and entertaining, with many thrilling twists and turns that leaves you at the end only wanting more.
The whole idea of this story is quite smart as the writers take what you think it might be, and completely turn it on its head.
Not to mention these characters have depth in them, they're hot, popular (and super rich),  considering how shallow they are.
Matthew and Barry hit it right on the head with this cunning satire in this modern day story told in the pages of these Spoilt Rotten teens with enough Sex, Drugs, Teenage Cruelty, Mini Schoolgirl Skirts..and uhh Facebook I guess. These teens cost society ALOT ;) ... JK
Its really character driven as you get to reconise these charcters during the story but still hate them with a passion altogether. The fact that youre screaming at these kids to die is disturbing and sick in a way, but relieved at the same time that you dont have to put up with their snot nosed attiudes.

Whats even more Bad ass is that filming finished a couple months back for the movie, and it has a stellar dream cast. Not to mention to add to the story's original roots, Judd Nelson the original Bad Boy from The Breakfast Club is Headmaster Nash in the film.
It seriously cant get any better than that.

                                        Judd Nelson as "Headmaster Nash"!

With all the positive rave reviews its been getting on the net its got me really excited for 2012! Its even been talked about as the current movie that's going to change the Horror mold in Hollywood!
Which I hope for the sake of the current trend in Hollywood, I hope it does as I have High hopes for this.
Kudos to all the talented writers & director and the actors that worked hard on it.

This is DEFINITELY not going to be your typical cluster fuck horror rip off. Nup.no,no,no,no--This is where the writers got it right!
Its a smart, edgy and jet black dark and dirty tale of the human heart and mind.
Now..I wasn't a huge Comic Book fan to begin with but after my good friend from school urged me to buy the Graphic, I did. And I don't ever regret.
You don't have to be the biggest comic book reader in the world but I seriously Urge you to check these guys the hell out.
Matthew Spradlin & Barry Wernick are onto something here!
And its something seriously effin' Great!
